Welcome to Chinese Astrology. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Chinese Astrology mobile application and the website at zhenmingyixue.top (together, the "Service"), operated by Zhen Ming Yi Xue (the "Operator", "we", "us").

Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Chinese Astrology is a cultural and educational application that generates traditional Chinese astrological charts and interpretive text. It covers systems including BaZi, Da Liu Ren, Qi Men Dun Jia, Liu Yao, Qi Zheng Si Yu and Tie Ban Shen Shu. Interpretations are produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence and are provided for cultural, educational and entertainment purposes only.

2. Not Professional Advice

The Service does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, investment or other professional advice. Nothing generated by the Service should be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. You are solely responsible for any decision you make based on the Service, and you should seek appropriate professional advice where necessary.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
You may delete your account at any time — see Section 9.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features require a paid subscription. Current plans are:

Basic Plan — USD 29.90 per month, approximately 3,000,000 tokens per month.
Professional Plan — USD 69.90 per month, approximately 10,000,000 tokens per month.
Token top-ups — one-time purchases (USD 9.90 / USD 24.90) that add tokens to your balance.

Prices are stated in US dollars and may change with notice. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods unless cancelled before the end of the current period.

Depending on where you purchase, payment is processed either by Stripe (on our website) or by Google Play Billing (inside the Android application). We do not store your full card details.

5. Purchases Made Through Google Play

If you purchase a subscription or top-up inside the Android application, the transaction is processed by Google Play. In that case:

Billing, renewal and cancellation are managed by your Google Play account, not by us.
Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy and must be requested through Google Play.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in the Google Play Store app under Subscriptions.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Purchases made on our website are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where we determine that a refund is appropriate.
Purchases made through Google Play are refunded according to Google Play's policy.
Unused tokens expire with your subscription and are not redeemable for cash.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload or disrupt the Service;
Resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service or its generated content as your own product;
Upload content that infringes the rights of others or that is defamatory or harmful.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text and the compilation of traditional source material, is owned by the Operator and protected by applicable laws. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service. Interpretations generated for you may be used for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the application (Settings → Delete Account), or by submitting a request through our web form at zhenmingyixue.top/account-deletion.html. When your account is deleted, we remove your account information and associated personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. A hashed record may be retained solely to prevent abuse.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of astrological interpretation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the application or on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
